Avborne Heavy Maintenance Group
About Avborne
Avborne is one of the largest aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul companies in North America. Avborne represents the integration of two divisions - Avborne Accessory Group and Avborne Heavy Maintenance with the highest reputation in aviation services. Avborne's headquarters and facilities are at or near Miami International Airport. Current annual revenues amount to over $100 million.
Our company aspires to compete aggressively throughout North America and the world by becoming a single-source provider of nose-to-tail aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul services. But even as we pursue the new geographic and service options that add value to doing business with Avborne, we intend to retain the personalized approach that characterizes our customer relationships.
Avborne Accessory Group repairs and overhauls avionics, electronics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and other rotable equipment. Additionally, the group maintains an extensive inventory of parts ready for immediate pick-up or shipment. All components receive certification in our FAA-approved shops.
Avborne Heavy Maintenance, formerly Professional Modification Services, performs heavy maintenance and letter checks for airlines. This group also performs cargo conversions at its 225,000 square foot hangar on the Miami International Airport.
Our 800 customers include all the largest, best-known airlines. Also, we have a special competence in supporting smaller airlines that don't have their own shops and parts inventories. Avborne is certified by all the leading approval authorities worldwide.
Customers enjoy high-quality, personalized service delivered by 800 knowledgeable employees. Mechanics typically receive 40 hours of formal classroom training annually and additional specialized training as needed. Seventy percent of our permanent heavy maintenance mechanics hold current airframe and power plant licenses.
Significant investments in state-of-the-art tooling and test equipment enable us to perform maintenance better, faster and more cost-effective than most competitors.
You can trust Avborne to extend your fleet's reputation for safety and reliability.
