The Team

The Building
Med-Craft recently completed stage on of our plans for the twenty-first century - the move into our new facilities that were designed and built especially for us. Many companies call their facilities "state-of-the-art", but what does that mean? Our facilities were conceived and designed from the ground up as an FAA repair station. Featuring new test equipment; the latest technology in computer and telephone equipment, including miles of Category 5E cabling; spacious work areas; secure environmentally controlled storage areas; and segregated test areas, this building will allow Med-Craft to expand on its strong commitment to quality, and to improve on our already reputable service.
We also share our facilities with our sister company Med-Air. They are a parts distributor and full service provider. With their multi-million dollar inventory, and Med-Craft's reputation as one of the finest repair companies in the industry, we will be able to provide the most complete solution available.
The Technology
Visit us, and let us introduce you to our new Avtron H202-50 - Universal Hydraulic Component and Pump/Motor Test Stand. This self-contained dual workstation test stand uses phosphate ester-based fluid, and has its own hydraulic power supply. The stand has a 10,000 psig Hydrostatic pump for static pressure testing. Pumps, motors, actuators, control valves - it can just about do it all!
This stand is just part of Med-Craft's commitment to the latest technology, and the use of it to provide our customers with the highest reliability available. Through the use of data acquisition, we give you test results with an accuracy that no human tester could ever provide.
Our Electronic Department uses a Westinghouse ATE-1650 Universal Test Stand. This piece of equipment, which is that same as OEM's use, enables us to offer the same degree of accuracy on your electronic components, too.
The System
The Med-craft system is designed to promote efficiency, quality, and the maximum information and communication possible to our customer.
Our system contains checklists and sign-offs throughout the life of a part in our system. This virtually eliminates oversights.
Our Discrepancy Form notifies you immediately of any discrepancies or errors on the paperwork of incoming units. By catching these inconsistencies early, time, money, and larger headaches are prevented. Med-Craft has been using digital photography for years to keep our clients visually informed. Another Med-Craft innovation that is now frequently imitated!
We install Inspection Required Items and Supplements into our Overhaul manuals that aid in quality control and assist our technicians in performing their jobs accurately, and reliably. The supplements include instructions, pictures, and, soon, other innovations will clarify the manuals to ensure the work Med-Craft performs for you is the best product you can receive.
Our traceablitily has always been unparalleled. We maintain history by part number, serial number, lot number, and aircraft for both piece parts and main units for our customers. We are able to perform detailed reliability analysis, and to track reliability by aircraft through our unique 45 Day Report.
