Castle Precision Industries (CPI) is a world class manufacturing company specializing in precision machining of high-strength steels (4340, 300M), featuring four 5-axis, 3-spindle gantries with numerous five (5) and (4) axis supporting N/C equipment. Although our primary products are landing gears, actuators, accessories and structural components, we machine any metal from bushing to wing-spar size. We were founded in 1973 and are a small-business concern. Our CAGE code is 9K006.
We are complemented by our complete overhaul division in Sylmar, California, operating under FAA Repair Station #CZKR066K, which supports the world's airlines and military accessories from small commuter aircraft to Boeing 747s.We are supported by Crown Chrome Plating, our wholly owned subsidiary, which has full capability to support CPI and all other aerospace companies in Southern California. Crown Discount Tools, our tooling subsidiary, supports Castle and other aerospace companies in the area with cutting tools and accessories, specializing in Carboloy-Seco equipment.
CPI has all the necessary quality approvals including Boeing D1-9000A BQS accreditation in 1998 and AQS approval in January 1999. We have the latest in computer design technology including CATIA, Vericut, Unigraphics, AutoCAD and Mastercam. Our Pentagon 2000 MIS/MRP System, installed in 1998, gives us the latest in production and management controls and visibility. We are considered an industry leader in Lean-manufacturing. And we have over the last few years added and upgraded our manufacturing equipment, giving us one of the best equipped manufacturing facilities in the country (see our facilities list).
